A Butler area man is accused of assaulting a minor in April 2025, according to charges filed Thursday, Oct. 1, in the district judge’s office in Chicora.

Jeffrey Allen Bergbigler, 20, was charged by state police with felony unlawful contact with a minor and one misdemeanor count each of indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age and corruption of minors.

Police said the incident occurred April 11, 2025, in Summit Township.

Further details about the charges were not available Thursday afternoon.
