Jo Ann Edwards, 94, of Harrisville, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026, at Quality Life Services — Mercer.

Born Sept. 8, 1931, in Logan, Ohio, Jo Ann was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Pennell) Snouffer.

Jo Ann worked for the family business and for Earth, Sun and Moon in Grove City.

On March 11, 1950, Jo Ann married Jack Edwards, who preceded her in death on March 14, 2015.

Jo Ann was a gifted artist who enjoyed drawing, designing costumes, quilting and making puppets for drug and alcohol programs.

Jo Ann is survived by her children, Connie (Herb) West, Cheryl (Russell) Dunlap, Jack (Marybeth) Edwards, Raymond Edwards, Richard (Deena) Edwards, James (Mae Lynne) Edwards and William (Amber) Edwards; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her husband and parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her granddaughter, BilliePaige Edwards; and her siblings, Mary (Bud) Short, Dallas (Mary Snouffer, Jewel (David) Dixon and Barbara (Pete) Peter.

EDWARDS — The family of Jo Ann Edwards, who died Monday, July 20, 2026, will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 24, at Slippery Rock Baptist Church, 435 Keister Road, Slippery Rock. Funeral services for Jo Ann will be held at 1 p.m. at the church, with Pastor Jeffery Lynn officiating.

Interment will be held in Prairie Cemetery, in Harrisville.
