Boozel

Laura J. Boozel, 74, of McCandless, passed away Monday, July 6, 2026.

Laura was born in Shaler and lived in Bridgeville before moving to McCandless in 1986. She was employed as a registered nurse (RN), most recently by Signa Insurance, for many years before retiring in 2017.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Shannon Boozel, in 2015.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 44 years, Edward; her daughter, Melanie Boozel; two brothers, Donald and Martin Roethlein; and a sister, Linda Slivosky. She was also loved by two grandchildren, Nathan Hronas and Karli Rowland.

BOOZEL — A memorial service for Laura J. Boozel, who died Monday, July 6, 2026, will be held at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, July 25, at North Park Church, 600 Ingomar Road, Wexford.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the memory of Laura to the ALS Association at www.ALS.org or ALS National Office, 1300 Wilson Blvd., Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22209.
