Rev. Ralph Link
The Rev. Ralph Link, 82, of Sarver passed away at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia.
He was born April 9, 1929, in Pittsburgh, to the late Lee Albert Link and Minnie Francis (Gruener) Link.
Rev. Link was a member of the Allegheny Presbyterian Church in Leechburg.
He was a minister in the Butler area for many years, and he also was a ceramic tile contractor
Rev. Link was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War.
He also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, clocks and model trains.
Rev. Link is survived by his loving spouse, Shirley M. (Neill) Link, who he married Dec. 15, 1951; two sons, R. Dale Link and his wife, Lianne, of Fenton, Mich., and Lloyd Alan Link and his wife, Karen, of Butler; one daughter, Nancy Lynn Double and her husband, Gary, of Petrolia; seven grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
<B>LINK </B>— Friends of the Rev. Ralph Link, who died Wednesday, May 4, 2011, will be received at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be at the Allegheny Presbyterian Church, Leechburg, at 11 a.m. Saturday with Lay Minster Lloyd Riggle of Allegheny Presbyterian Church officiating.
