David James Wack

David James Wack, 87, of Zelienople passed away Monday.

Born Dec. 29, 1923, he was one of nine children born to William J. and Anna W. Wack.

Mr. Wack was a Baptist and a born-again Christian.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran, and he enjoyed hunting and being in the outdoors with his sons.

Mr. Wack was an auctioneer and certified appraiser for 49 years. He was a graduate of the Missouri School of Auctioneers and a member of the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association.

Mr. Wack loved people, loved to laugh and touched the lives of many people.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie M. Wack, who he married June 4, 1954; two sons, David C. Wack and Glenn J. Wack (Carol), both of Zelienople; two grandchildren, Miranda M. Wack and Jesse James Wack; two brothers; and three sisters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

<B>WACK</B> — Friends of David James Wack, who died Monday, May 9, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, where funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Thursday.
