Monroeville woman sentenced in 3 cases, 2 for excessive 911 calls

A Monroeville woman was sentenced Thursday in Butler County Common Pleas Court to serve 24 months of probation after pleading guilty to charges in three cases, including two for calling state police numerous times without an emergency.

Susan Hunter Fleming, 50, was sentenced to concurrently serve 24 months of probation in two cases and 12 months of probation in another case and pay fines totaling $600 after pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges of violations regarding communications with 911, disorderly conduct and unauthorized use of a vehicle filed by state police.

On Nov. 17, Fleming was charged with communications with 911 violations after police said she contacted the Butler barracks nine times over a five hour period without having an emergency. The same day, she was charged with similar violations and disorderly conduct after contacting the barracks 12 times over seven hours without an emergency, according to police. The charge in the second case was dismissed in a plea agreement.

On Nov. 18, police charged Fleming with a felony count of theft and a misdemeanor count of unauthorized use of a vehicle after responding to a report of a 2002 Ford Thunderbird stolen from Mont Drive in Center Township. The theft charge was dismissed in a plea agreement.
