Cheswick woman accused of assaulting 3 people, hitting one over head with chair
A Cheswick woman is accused of assaulting three people, one by hitting them over the head with a rolling chair, early Monday morning, Aug. 24, in Clinton Township, according to state police.
Christina Hope Nash, 42, was charged with felony aggravated assault and two misdemeanor counts of simple assault following the incident.
Police said they were dispatched around 1:45 a.m. for a reported assault on Monks Road. Police found Nash with a wrist injury, which she said was from being grabbed, bruising along her knuckles and dried blood on her sweatshirt.
Police also spoke with three people who were allegedly assaulted.
One person told police they were struck over the head with a rolling chair and punched multiple times. Their left eye was swollen shut with a laceration across the upper eyelid, police said. They were transported by Saxonburg EMS to AHN Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.
Another person said Nash bit them and a third person said Nash kicked them in the stomach and punched them in the face, police said.
Nash’s preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
