On behalf of the Rodgers family, the employees of Rodgers Brothers Inc. and the historic community of Harmony, we wanted to thank the Harmony Fire District and all the regional fire companies for your valiant efforts in saving our building at 223 Mercer St. on May 18.

Without question, your professional and rapid response saved the building as the fire quickly began to spread across the roof and endangered the whole structure. Because of your courage and swift response, we will be able to save and restore the building. Your training and skill were on full display, and we can’t imagine the hundreds of hours of training that it must take to be so competent.

Thank you for your incredible efforts on May 18, and thank you for being prepared every single day.
