Butler elementary wrestlers Santino Sloboda and Levi Donnel won their respective weight classes at the Glenn Clark Memorial Crusade for the Belt tournament in Mars recently.

Sloboda, 8, won the 89-under 55-pound class while Donnel, 10, won the 10-under 65-pound class.

Donnel also took first place in the 10-under and 12-under 65-pound class at the Hopewell Viking Classic. Sloboda took second in the 8-under 55-pound class at the Emma Bursick Memorial Open in Hampton.

Junior high

Butler rallied for a 54-36 win over Mars recently. Nathan McMaster won by fall at 105 pounds for the Golden Tornado.

Cam Wisenstein won a 7-5 decision in overtime at 90 pounds while Darin Skidmore won 5-4 at 145. Even McDonald, Clayton Dressler, Paris Johnson, Kate Quinlan, Terry Hortert, Caleb Hartung and Ian Thompson won by forfeit.
