Terri Watterson

Terri Watterson, 58, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2026, after a courageous two-decade battle with multiple sclerosis. Following a recent diagnosis of pneumonia, her body could no longer continue the fight she had faced with strength and resilience for so many years. She was surrounded by three of her caregivers when she passed.

She devoted her life to her family, her faith and her community. A loving stay-at-home mother, she poured her heart into raising her daughters and supporting countless children and families throughout the years in the best ways she knew how. She served as a PTO mom, Girl Scout leader, field trip chaperone, church caravan leader, Bible quizzing leader, Vacation Bible School volunteer and church camp counselor. She spent many years putting care kits together for soldiers in Iraq and sent them overseas with the help of her church.

She contributed years at her daughters’ school as a lunch lady, where she liked to banter back and forth with all the kids. During her career at St. Vincent de Paul Society, she helped displaced families and distributed food to those who needed it from their food bank. Her life was defined by service to others and the impact she made on the lives of children, families and members of her community will never be forgotten.

She was known for her infectious laugh, her kindness, steadfast faith, bubbly personality and her love of talking to anyone for hours. Through decades of volunteering and ministry while she still could she touched countless lives and created lasting memories for so many who were blessed to know her.

She was a devoted wife to her husband, Cory, for 17 years. During her husband’s battle with cancer, she remained faithfully by his side every step of the way, caring for him with unwavering love and dedication throughout his journey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brother, Tom Bell.

Terri is survived by her daughters, Kristi Patz and Kasy Bell; her beloved grandchildren, Jordan Snyder and Bethany Snyder; her brother, Tony Bell, and his wife, Debbie Bell; along with many extended family members, friends, church family and all those whose lives she touched.

Terri is finally at peace with her Savior, Jesus. Her legacy of compassion, faith, strength and selfless devotion to others will continue to live on in the many people she inspired throughout her life.
