Anne Olescyski

Olescyski

Anne E. “Annie O” Olescyski, 77, of Adams Township, passed away Tuesday morning, April 7, 2026, in the comfort of her home surrounded by family and friends, after an illness.

Born in Pittsburgh on Aug. 8, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Agnes Pallan.

Anne graduated from Mars High School in 1966 and began her career as an LPN by attending Butler County Community College. After graduating, she worked as a nurse at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars for 33 years.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mars.

Ann loved to crochet, read novels and garden. Her love of nature provided her with comfort and support. Anne was both humble and gentle and a selfless friend to everyone she met. She will be remembered as a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother and her sense of humor was a delight to everyone. Anne believed it was better to give than to receive. Her life was an example of love and preserving the family traditions.

She is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Olescyski, whom she married Oct. 22, 1966; son, Jaime; grandsons, Dylan and Landyn; sisters, Andrea Welch and Artha Hockenberry; and brother, Arthur Pallan.
