Margaret B. Painter
Margaret B. Painter, 100, of Newhaven Court in Center Township, formerly of Whippo Avenue, died Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born April 26, 1907, in Butler, she was a daughter of Thomas and Daisy Stoner Brophy.
She had been a secretary for Winters Drug Stores and Card Shops in Butler for 20 years until the business was sold in the 1960s.
She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
She loved flower gardens.
Surviving are a sister, Gertrude Stanley of Butler, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Painter, who died Aug. 12, 1987; two sisters, and four brothers.
<B>Painter</B> — Friends of Margaret B. Painter, who died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz, her church pastor, will officiate.
