The publishing of Ellen Garbuny’s letter (“Federal officers are out of control,” Jan. 25, Page A4) could unfortunately not have been more timely. Another U.S. citizen has been killed by our government in Minnesota.

This time, he was forcibly disarmed and then killed by agents emboldened by the power given to them. We must take it back. I fail to see how any true conservative Republican can support this kind of government.

It is my hope that U.S. Rep Mike Kelly sees this letter and realizes that his Republican constituents do not support this kind of authoritarian government. I’m not against removing illegal immigrants, but there are far better methods.
