In a news release issued Monday, Feb. 2, the nonprofit America250PA announced it was “actively coordinating with local leaders” to reschedule the planned Butler County America250PA kickoff event, which was postponed from its original date of Sunday, Jan. 25.

The kickoff event, which was scheduled to be held at the Butler County Courthouse, was one of the many events to be postponed as a result of the winter storm.

Butler County wasn’t alone, as 14 other counties had their kickoff events postponed in what was intended to be a statewide kickoff tour that visit all 67 counties across the month of January.
