Dolores Christy, 71, of Broadway Avenue in East Butler died Sunday at the Chicora Medical Center after a short illness.

Born Jan. 17, 1935, in East Butler, she was the daughter of Robert Christy and E. Pearl Dengler.

She was a member of the East Butler Presbyterian Church and enjoyed playing bingo and cards.

Miss Christy is survived by a sister, Mrs. Vernon "Ben" (Betty Lucille) Ehrman of Butler and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
