Leora C. Burgh, 74, of Zelienople died Tuesday in the comfort of her home.

Born May 17, 1936, in Middle Lancaster, Lancaster Township, she was the daughter of the late James R. Scott and Bertha (Ruby) Scott.

Leora was a member of the English Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Eastern Star and Wimodausis.

After 40 years of dedicated service, she retired from the Seneca Valley School District, where she served as the food service director.

She is survived by her three sons, Douglas W. Burgh and his wife, Jamie, of Zelienople, G. Daniel Burgh and his wife, Debra, of Spring, Texas, and Dale R. Burgh and his wife, Janie, of St. Joseph, Mich.; a daughter, Diane L. Jordan and her husband, Elex, of North Versailles; two sisters, Betty J. Stoughton of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Nancy Strohecker of Portersville; four grandchildren, Justin D. Burgh and his wife, Stefanie Burgh, Ehren W. Burgh, Ethan D. Burgh and Ainsley G. Burgh; two great-grandchildren, Mallory L. Burgh and Alexis R. Smith-Jordan; and a sister-in-law, Texanna Ketterer Deener. In addition, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Burgh was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George W. Burgh, who died July 25, 2005. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald J. Scott; and a sister, Ellen G. Scott.

<B>BURGH </B>— The family of Leora C. Burgh, who died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, will welcome friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the English Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. Robert A. Keplinger, her church pastor, officiating. Friends please meet at church.
