I would like to know why state Sen. Scott Hutchinson voted against funding our schools and social services.

How is it acceptable to neglect one of the most basic responsibilities entrusted to him, distributing funds to serve the taxpayers? For this action alone, I sincerely hope he faces a primary challenge in 2028.

The passage of the budget is a bipartisan effort and a compromise was reached. He should have voted yes.
