James P. Musser
James P. Musser Sr., 61, of Mosser Drive, New Castle, died Friday at VA Butler Healthcare following an illness.
Born July 23, 1948, in Canton, Ohio, he was the son of Cliff E. and Zelma St. Clair Musser. He was married for 41 years to Linda Williams Musser, who he married on Dec. 26, 1968.
Mr. Musser retired following 30 years as a conductor for CSX Railroad.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1970. He was a member of the VFW Post 315 in New Castle and the Wampum Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gambling.
In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by his parents; two children, James P. (Linda Imler) Musser Jr. of Volant and Hope Musser Beeler of New Castle; two brothers, Joe (Esther Kelly) Musser of Ellwood City and Chuck Musser of Florida; and six grandchildren, Bryanna, Darryl, Austin, Lee-Ann, David and William.
<B>MUSSER</B> — Visiting hours for James P. Musser, who died Friday, May 21, 2010, will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Marshall Funeral Home</B>, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City. Friends will also be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. James Latta will officiate.
