Pearl H. Dull

Dull

Pearl H. Dull, 103, of Slippery Rock died at 9:25 a.m. Sunday at Slippery Rock Personal Care Home.

Born Dec. 22, 1902, in Clay Township, she was the daughter of Edward Lawrence and Hannah Irene Gannon Carothers.

She was a homemaker and the oldest living member of the St. John's United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Leon (Vera) Briggs of Portsmouth, Va., and Mrs. Wanda Keller and Mrs. Harry (Maxine) Allison, both of Slippery Rock; two sons, Edward Dull of Slippery Rock and Gerald Dull of Fredonia; 15 grandchildren; six step grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Kearns of Butler; two nieces; and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Dull, who died May 24, 1978; a son; two brothers; and a grandson.

<B>Dull</B> — Friends of Pearl H. Dull, who died Sunday, July 9, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. David Early, her pastor, officiating.Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.The family suggests memorial donations be made to the St. John's Methodist Church, Hallston Road, Slippery Rock, PA 16057.
