Zabicki

Patricia A. Zabicki, 89, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026.

She was born in Butler on May 4, 1937, the daughter of the late Hubert and Grace (Conrad) Mahood.

Patricia graduated from Butler High School. She was employed at Butler Magnetics for numerous years and then worked as a secretary at St. Fidelis Seminary in Herman.

Patricia enjoyed traveling, going to flea markets, gardening and reading. She was known for being hardworking, dedicated, generous and kindhearted. Patricia loved her beloved pet poodle, Max, that she spoiled immensely.

Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Richard Zabicki, whom she married Nov. 27, 1958, until his passing in 2008. She is survived by her nephews and nieces, Robert (Sue), Ronald, David (Sharon) and Richard Zabicki, Christine (Jerry) McGarrah and Victoria (Glen) Lines. She is also survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.

Along with her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by her siblings, Donna Young and Elaine Ligus; and her niece, Marsha Zabicki.

ZABICKI — Family and friends of Patricia A. Zabicki, who died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026, will be received from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A Roman Catholic blessing service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

Burial will be held privately.
