Harry T. Lawther
Harry T. Lawther, 84, of Valencia died Tuesday morning at the UPMC Passavant hospital, McCandless Township.
Born in Mars, July 27, 1922, he was the son of George Denton and Bessie Miller Lawther.
He retired as a maintenance supervisor at Pittsburgh Cut Flower in Richland Township.
Mr. Lawther was a member of the Hampton Presbyterian Church.
He served as a corporal in the Army during World War II with the 295th Army Engineers and received four Bronze Stars. He was a life member of the Mars VFW Post 7505.
Surviving are his wife, Violet Peaco Lawther, whom he married July 6, 1946; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sandra L.) Milliken and Mrs. Gary (Nancy A.) Jackson, both of Gibsonia; two sons, Thomas R. (Leslie) Lawther and Richard L. Lawther, all of Valencia; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Bartlett, and by three brothers, Merle, Richard and Robert Lawther.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Lytch, interim pastor of the Hampton Presbyterian Church, officiating.
