Kevin W. Thompson
Kevin W. Thompson, 56, of Saxonburg, died Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 11, 1954 in Washington, Pa., he was the son of Wayne Thompson and Betty Cale Weber.
He worked as a wildlife conservation officer for the Pennsylvania Game Commission, Northwest Region. He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1976. Kevin also was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Diocese of Pittsburgh Deaconate Class of 2011, the Draft Horse Association and various wildlife conservation organizations. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and showing Belgian draft horses.
Surviving are his wife, Sharyn Street Thompson, who he married Nov. 20, 1982; his son, Justin (Heather) Thompson of Freeport; his mother and stepfather, Betty (Clyde) Weber of Scenery Hill; his brothers, Scott Thompson of Scenery Hill, Curtis Thompson of Scenery Hill and Kenneth Thompson of Juneau, Wis.
Preceding him in death was his father, who died in 1988.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot, with the Rev. Ward Stakem, OFM Cap., officiating.
