Janet and Russell McNees

Russell and Janet McNees of Latrobe will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner.

McNees married the former Janet Maxwell on Aug. 6, 1960, at Plain Grove Presbyterian Church in Plain Grove.

They have three children, Shelly DeMarco of East Stroudsburg, Megan McCormick of Mt. Lebanon and Missy McNees of Los Angeles.

They also have four grandchildren.

McNees is a retired commercial pilot and is retired from Teledyne Vasco.

Mrs. McNees is a teacher retired from the Derry Area School District. She volunteers at Latrobe Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. McNees belong to Latrobe Presbyterian Church.
