Donna and Ron Weiland

Ron and Donna Weiland of Oak Forest, Ill., celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Grand Ballroom at Cornerstone Commons in Butler.

Weiland married the former Donna Daugherty on July 30, 1960, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

They have five children, Greg Weiland of Chicago, Rhonda Weiland of Chicago, Mary Riggs of Fort Wayne, Ind., Jaret Weiland of Gainesville, Fla., and Brad Weiland of Chicago.

They also have four grandchildren.

The Weilands are retired. They belong to St. Damian Catholic Church in Oak Forest, Ill.
