David W. Kuhlber
David Wage Kuhlber, 79, of Slippery Rock passed on at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at his home.
Born April 21, 1928, in Allison Park, he was the son of John Wade and Gertrude Fisher Kuhlber.
He was a self-employed sales man and a Westview High School and University of Pittsburgh graduate.
He also served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Kuhlber was a family man and a member of the United Methodist Church of Slippery Rock, where he was an active choir member.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Chappell Kuhlber, whom he married Nov. 18, 1950; a son, David G. Kuhlber and his wife, Diana, of Grove City; two daughters, Beth Douds and her husband, Jeff, of Chippewa and Susan Ayers and her husband, Rick, of Slippery Rock; a brother, Warren Kuhlber and his wife, Verna Rea, of Sewickley; a sister, Carol Wright and her husband, the Rev. Howard Wright, of Erie; and six grandchildren, Dane and Darci Kuhlber, Amanda and Brent Ayers, and Bill and Paula Douds.
<B>Kuhlber — </B>A memorial service for David Wage Kuhlber, who died Saturday, July 21, 2007, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church of Slippery Rock with the Rev. Pam Gardner officiating.Memorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Church, 130 Franklin St., Slippery Rock, PA 16057.Arrangements were completed by the <B>Smith Funeral Home </B>in Slippery Rock.
