Cecelia A. 'Sis' Barnhart

Cecelia A. "Sis" Barnhart, 82, of Fenelton passed away at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

Born April 11, 1925, in Donegal Township, she was the daughter of Charles J. and Catherine Rodgers.

She was a homemaker, a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Barnhart was a member of St. John's Catholic Parish of Coylesville, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild.

Surviving are her husband, Robert W. Barnhart Sr., whom she married Aug. 27, 1947; two daughters and sons-in-law, Chris and Henry McNutt of Fenelton and Melinda "Wendy" and Nick McClaine of Cabot; a son, Robert W. Barnhart Jr. and his wife, Robin, of Fenelton; four grandchildren, Rhiana "Roni," Lanea, Emily and Robert III "Robbie"; and five great-grandchildren, Vicky, Terry, Katie, Grace and Abby.

Also surviving are a sister, Gertrude Eakman of Fenelton; two brothers, Charles Rodgers of Butler and Paul Rodgers of Fenelton; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Clayton, Claude, Patrick and James Rodgers; and two sisters, Irene Cannon and Mary Frketich.

<B>BARNHART </B>— Friends of Cecelia A. "Sis" Barnhart, who died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Steighner Funeral Home</B>, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Clearfield Road, Fenelton, with the Rev. Kenneth Kezmarsky officiating. Burial will be at the parish cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville.
