Helen Bader

Helen M. Hartzell Bader, 87, of Zelienople, passed away Friday afternoon, Feb. 2, 2024, in Wexford House.

Born in Baden on June 12, 1936, she was the last surviving child of the late Harry M. and Edna Myers Hartzell.

She was of the Protestant Faith.

Helen enjoyed lunch with the Good Time Girls. She also loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie (Daryl) Flowers of Volant; one son, Timothy (Holly) Bader of Zelienople; five grandsons, Justin, Zachary and Tyler Bader and Robbie and Benjamin Killmeyer; and three great-grandsons, Parker and Cameron Killmeyer and Arthur Bader.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Joseph Bader, on Sept. 2, 2003; one son, James H. Bader; one sister; and four brothers.

BADER — A service for Helen M. Hartzell Bader, who died Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pinewood Memorial Park Chapel, Cranberry Township. She will be laid to rest with her husband.

A. CARL KINSEY-RONALD N. VOLZ FUNERAL HOME, 328 W. Main St., Evans City, was entrusted with her arrangements.
