Monday — Blace Fusco reported his silver and blue mountain bike was stolen Thursday or Friday from the front porch of his South Sixth Avenue home. The Giant brand bike is valued at $600.Monday — Police filed a charge of receiving stolen property against Geralyn Phillips, 26, of Butler, stemming from the April 22 reported theft of a Nintendo DS console and five video games from Jeff Sleigher's home on Euclid Avenue. Phillips is accused of selling the property at a video game store in Clearview Mall, Center Township.Sleigher, meanwhile, reported that in addition to the Nintendo and games, also taken from his home was a digital camera, money and a children's wallet. That property has not been recovered.

11 a.m. Sunday — Cynde Montgomer, 23, and William Spencer, 25, both of Tarentum, Allegheny County, were charged with retail theft after they allegedly pushed a shopping cart full of unpaid merchandise, including a television and a Wii game system out of the Wal-Mart store in Butler Commons. The stolen property was valued at $1,101.12:07 a.m. Sunday — Kevin Karch, 31, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle ran over a concrete medial barrier on Route 8 before running over a second one at the intersection of Hansen Avenue and Whitestown Road.Friday — Norman Leroy Kemp III, 29, of Sarver was arrested for retail theft after allegedly stealing two Kodak digital cameras and a Nintendo Wii video game system from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons on April 26. The stolen property is worth a combined $567.5:11 p.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Sean Compertore, 20, of Lyndora struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle stopped at a red light on Route 68. The westbound lane of the highway was blocked for about 30 minutes following the crash, but traffic was not detoured. Danielle Schmidt, 34, of Evans City was driving the SUV.

7:44 p.m. Sunday — An unidentified red Chevrolet Impala rear-ended another car stopped on Route 308 to turn onto Leeward Drive in Center Township and did not stop after the crash. The Impala was seen headed north on Route 308 toward West Sunbury.The unknown hit-and-run driver is described as a white man between 30 and 40 years old. Gary C. Rauschenberger, 58, of Butler was driving the car that was struck from behind.6:45 a.m. Saturday — Two men were injured, one seriously, when their car crashed into a business sign and drainage culvert along Route 68 near Grandview Avenue in Fairview Township.Matthew M. Snow, 26, of East Brady a passenger in the car, suffered a major injury. He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, and his condition was not known this morning.Paul E. Ealy, 26, of Karns City, the driver, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for a minor injury. Ealy was cited for careless driving.8:35 p.m. April 26 — James W. Holton, 43, of Emlenton was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his sport utility vehicle struck an embankment on Route 58 in Marion Township. Holton suffered a minor injury in the crash.3:48 p.m. April 23 — A car driven by Ashton M. Bakey, 21, of Ellwood City sideswiped another car driven by Patricia Hart, 59, of Falls Creek, Jefferson County, on Route 38 in Center Township. Bakey's car crossed into the other lane and collided with a second car, driven by Philip H. Wick, 59, of West Sunbury.Bakey was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.

4:22 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Timothy King, 35, of Ford City struck a deer on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township before hitting a second deer down the road.

8:46 p.m. Saturday — Someone used a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for merchandise at the Nike store at Prime Outlets in Springfield Township.
