Marilyn M. Donaldson, 69, of Prospect, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital after an illness.

Marilyn was born Jan. 15, 1954, in Beaver County, and was the daughter of Ernest and Evelyn Graham Miller.

Marilyn was a housewife and had worked at Kaufmann’s in Rochester and Adams Manufacturing in Portersville. She was an active member of St. Faustina Parish, St. Christopher at the Lake Catholic Church in Prospect. Marilyn also was a 56-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 512 in Rochester. She was a graduate of Rochester High School.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Rick L. Donaldson, whom she married Sept. 4, 1971; one son, Rick L. (Wendy) Donaldson Jr. of Slippery Rock; two grandchildren, Trisha and Trevor; and one brother, Bill (Barbara) Miller of Beaver County.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ernie and Gary “Pinky” Miller.

DONALDSON — Visitation for Marilyn M. Donaldson, who died Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at JAY BRYAN FUNERAL HOME, 443 Main St., Prospect.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Chapel at Greenlawn Burial Estates and Mausoleum, 731 W. Old Route 422, Butler, with Father Sean Francis, of St. Faustina Parish in Slippery Rock, officiating.
