Samuel Jewart

Jewart

Samuel A. Jewart, 21, of Concord Township, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023, of natural causes.

Born in Butler on March 16, 2002, he was the son of Michael and Heather Jewart.

He was a 2023 graduate of the Watson Institute, Sewickley.

Samuel loved looking out the window dreaming about his next big adventure. He was such a trooper while watching his sibling’s endless sporting events. He loved spending time with his family and loved his puppers. He would light up a room with his smile and melt everyone with his hugs. He enjoyed music, especially the Happy Birthday song, whether it was sung to him or someone else. We are going to miss our dear, sweet boy until the end of time.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Spc. Zack Jewart of Fort Liberty, N.C., and Jake Jewart of Concord Township; and a sister, Abbey Jewart, at home. Also surviving are his grandparents, Barb Jewart of Utica and Bill and Pat Moser of Oakland Township; his aunts, Jodie (Mel) Heckman of Utica and Judy (Bob) Scott of Slippery Rock; and his cousins, Luke Scott of Hooker and Ryan Scott of Slippery Rock.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Clair “Bub” Jewart; and his great-grandparents, Glenn and Effie Moser, Ken and Flo King, Lawrence and Elizabeth Jewart and Mike and Betty Vargo.

JEWART - Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, West Sunbury. Private services will be held Tuesday, with the Rev. Mary Kitchen officiating. Burial will be at North Butler Cemetery, Oakland Township.

Memorial donations may be made to the Watson Institute, 301 Camp Meeting Road, Sewickley, PA 15143.
