Lisa M. Cupps

Lisa Michelle Cupps, 44, of Dolphin Drive died Monday at her home surrounded by her family.

Born Jan. 23, 1962, in Butler, she was the daughter of William D. and Charlene Novak Stevenson.

She was a teacher for the South Butler School District.

An alumna of Butler High School, she graduated from Grove City College with a degree in elementary education and earned her master's degree at Westminster College. She also had earned her certification in guidance counseling.

Mrs. Cupps also was a Girl Scout leader for the Keystone Tall Tree Girl Scout Council and a volunteer for the Butler Baseball Association.

She was a member of the Alpha Beta sorority of Grove City College and a former member of Butler Junior Women's Club.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, was an active volunteer in her community and enjoyed scrapbooking and organizing and planning events for others.

Surviving are her husband, Stephen E. Cupps, whom she married June 18, 1988; a son and daughter, Erik Stephen and Stephanie Michelle Cupps, both at home; her parents of Butler; and a brother, David Stevenson of Butler.

She also is survived by three nieces, two nephews, one uncle, two aunts and a number of cousins.

<B>CUPPS</B> — Friends of Lisa Michelle Cupps, who died Monday, Dec. 18, 2006, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Saint Andrews UnitedPresbyterian Church with the Rev. Merry Meloy officiating.
