Patrick J. Kenney
Patrick J. "Pat" Kenney, 68, a three-year resident of Campground Road, Harrisville, died at 4:17 p.m. Sunday at the Florida Hospital of Zephyrhills after a one-month illness. He spent his winters in Flordia and formerly lived in Economy, Beaver County
Born in Crabtree, April 22, 1939, he was a son of Harry N. and Ruth Larkin Kenney.
He retired in 1995 as a truck driver for the BP Oil Co. and formerly worked for the Greyhound Moving Co.
He enjoyed camping and was a member of the Good Sam Camping Club and Family Motor Coach Club and was active helping his father-in-law start the KozyRest Campground in Harrisville.
Mr. Kenney was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Ambridge.
He was an Army veteran and a member of the Harrisville American Legion Post 852.
He is survived by his wife, Judity E. Duckworth Kenney, whom he married July 22, 1962; three daughters and their spouses, Judith E. and Dennis A. Wescott and Kelli J. and Robert C. Snyder, all of Harrisville, and Amanda S. and Christopher J. Meckling of New Stanton; two grandchildren, Bethany and Patrick Snyder; two sisters, Mary Dunlap and Ruth Huber, both of Latrobe; and three brothers, Harry Kenney of Pleasant Unity, Alfred Kenney and his wife, Deloris, of Youngwood and William Kenney and his wife, Marie, of Blairsville
Six brothers preceded him in death.
<B>KENNEY</B> — Friends of Patrick J. "Pat" Kenney, who died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Friday at the <B>Jamison Funeral Home</B>, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Dickey, his church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.Donations may be made to the Harrisville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 424 Harrisville, PA 16038, or to the donor's favorite charity.
