Robert J. Jones

Robert J. Jones, 70, of Apollo died Sunday at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Born Jan. 7, 1937, he was the son of Thomas and Dorothy Clark Jones.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, AnnaMae Reid Jones; a daughter, Jamie Durso and husband, Joe, of Slippery Rock; a son, Todd Jones and his wife, Sue, of Butler; a daughter, Randi Clark of Slippery Rock; and grandchildren, A.J. and Matt Durso, Garrett and Joshua Jones, T.J., Alexandria and Zack Clark; his twin brother, Richard Jones of Aptos, Calif., and his family; a sister, Kathleen Varner of South Williamsport and her family; a sister-in-law, Margaret Jean Ehringer of Bethel Park and her family; numerous nephews and nieces; and a great-niece and a great-great niece.

He will also be sadly missed by his companions, Annie and Flame.

<B>JONES</B> — There will be no public viewing for Robert J. Jones, who died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007. Memorial services will be held by the family.The family requests all memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of R. Jones, for lung cancer research.
