Youshock

Mary A. Youshock, 87, formerly of Browntown Road, Mercer Township, from 1948 to 2005, died at 10:40 a.m., Thursday at the Grove Manor Nursing Home in Grove City after a long illness.

She was born on June 26, 1922, in Lyndora, the daughter of Alex Halahurich and Eva Popudnyk Halahurich.

Mrs. Youshock was a homemaker. She enjoyed flowers, baking and cooking. She especially liked spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of the North Liberty Presbyterian Church.

She married Steve J. Youshock on Nov. 27, 1948, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 1995.

Survivors include a son, Dennis Youshock and his wife, Joyce, of Slippery Rock; three granddaughters, Michelle Barger of Mars, Brenda Fedokovitz and her husband, Terry, of Slippery Rock, and Stephanie Youshock of Cranberry Township; four great-grandchildren, Taylor and Alexis Barger of Mars and Steve and Dylan Fedokovitz of Slippery Rock; and a brother, William Halahurich of Sarver.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Helen Kampitis and Ann Fowler; and three brothers, John, Michael and Steve Halahurich.

<B>YOUSHOCK — </B>Friends of Mary A. Youshock, who died Thursday, May 6, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the <B>CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME</B>, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Mahaffey, pastor of North Liberty Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Cemetery in Harrisville.
