Edward J. Sheptak
Edward J. Sheptak, 80, of Lower Allen Township, Mechanicsburg, died Thursday at Pinnacle-West Shore Hospital, Hampden Township, Cumberland County.
He was the retired founder and co-owner/operator of Capitol Business Forms, New Cumberland; a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War; a 1958 graduate of Grove City College and completed his graduate work at Westminster College, New Wilmington; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; a past president and member of West Shore Rotary; a member of the Knights of Columbus, West Shore Council 4068; a fourth-degree knight, Bishop Shanahan Assembly; and a member of Harrisburg Bridge Club and the VFW Post 7530, Lower Allen.
Born Dec. 18, 1934, in Lyndora, he was the son of the late Theodore and Nellie (Penar) Sheptak. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John T. Sheptak.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Elsie (LaMark) Sheptak; one son, Scott E. Sheptak of Florida; one daughter, Joanne E. Sparrow of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren, Coleman, Ty and Marley; and one great-grandson, Trace.
SHEPTAK — Visitation for Edward J. Sheptak, who died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St., New Cumberland, with the Rev.
