Teenager injured in 1-car accidentADAMS TWP — A 17-year-old female suffered minor injuries from a rollover accident Wednesday afternoon.She had cuts and bruises from the accident, which happened about 2:30 p.m. on Stoup Road near the intersection with Union Church Road.The car, a Nissan Altima, rolled over and slid on its roof, breaking the windshield and leaving debris on the road. No other vehicles were involved.Quality EMS and the township police responded. The road was closed to traffic for less than an hour while the car was flipped back over and towed away.Police at the scene said the suspected cause was that the driver took a turn too quickly and the road was wet from rain.

Elderly woman’s vehicle hits treeLANCASTER TWP — A one-vehicle accident happened at around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday about a half-mile from 501 Little Creek Road.According to Harmony Fire District Chief Scott Garing, an elderly woman was driving her car east on Little Creek Road when she went off the road and hit a tree.She got out of her vehicle and walked to the nearest house to call 911. She sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital by Cranberry Township EMS. Also responding were Harmony Fire District, Jackson Township Police Department and Lancaster Township Police Department.The woman’s vehicle sustained front-end damage and was towed.
