Richard L.Sekara

Richard L.Sekara, 75, of Clinton Township died Thursday after a long illness.

Born Feb. 28, 1931, in Rural Ridge, he was a son of Michael and Josephine Suvoy Sekara.

He served in the Korean War.

Mr. Sekara worked in the steel industry for Roessing and Bronze in Mars for 45 years. He was a family man, a Steelers fan and enjoyed working in the garden.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth A. Wise Sekara, whom he married Sept. 9, 1955; two daughters, Karen and her husband, Mark, Crumpton of California and Kathi Sekara of Natrona Heights; a son, Paul and his wife, Amy, Sekara of Butler; and two grandsons, Adam Will of Delaware and Hunter Sekara of West Virginia.

Mr. Sekara was preceded in death by a sister, Rosanne Lesseski; a brother, Raymond Sekara; and a granddaughter, Gabrielle Sekara.

<B>SEKARA</B> — Friends of Richard L. Sekara, who died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Glade Run Presbyterian Church, Route 8, Valencia, with the Rev. Greg Wiest, officiating. Burial will be private in Bull Creek Cemetery in West Deer Township.Arrangements are being made by <B>SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 3500 Brooktree Road, Suite 320, Wexford, PA 15090.
