1:13 a.m. Thursday — Peter Alan Albaugh, 28, of Butler is accused of exposing himself to a clerk at the A-plus convenience store on East Jefferson Street. Police said Albaugh is charged with open lewdness and disorderly conduct.

1:43 p.m. Wednesday — A ortion of McCalmont Road near Route 8 had to be closed after a tractor-trailer struck a low-hanging power line while backing into the rear lot of Baglier Buick.South Butler volunteer firefighters helped police with traffic control following the accident. The road was closed for about one hour.1:03 p.m. Tuesday — Marla Bodnar, 37, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Evans City Road near Meridian Road.11:32 a.m. Tuesday — Marian F. Vavro, 56, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Whitestown Road after nearly crashing into a police cruiser.Police said Vavro was traveling west when her car veered into the eastbound lane and into the path of the cruiser near Villa Drive. The officer swerved to the right to avoid a collision, a police report said.In addition to DUI, Vavro faces charges for careless driving and a lane violation.Tuesday — Police filed theft charges against Paula Crawford, 41, of Leechburg, Armstrong County, for allegedly cashing a $200 check in September without the owner's permission.

4 p.m. Thursday — A ickup truck driven by Nicholas Freeman, 24, of Adrian, Armstrong County, and a sport utility vehicle driven by Justin T. Miller, 31, of Butler collided on Route 38 near Route 68 in Summit Township. Police said Freeman was cited for a left-turn violation.Thursday — A 15-year-old boy faces theft charges for stealing a younger boy's bicycle on Main Street in Bruin.Wednesday — Two unknown suspects made off with a large amount of money between 2 and 3 p.m. in a burglary at a Grey Avenue home in Winfield Township.Police said one of the burglars distracted the homeowner, an 84-year-old man, outside the house while the other went inside and stole the money. The suspects left in a black car that was last seen traveling south on Grey Avenue with the trunk lid open.Anyone who saw the car Wednesday in the Cabot area is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.Monday — A 2-foot aluminum row boat was stolen from a camp along Slippery Rock Creek off Kiester Road in Slippery Rock Township. Carol Early of West Sunbury owns the property that was taken between 2 and 6:30 p.m.

10:30 a.m. Wednesday — ARimersburg man wanted in connection with at least two burglaries and for a parole violation was jailed on $350,000 bail after he was found hiding in a New Bethlehem Township apartment.Police said Dennis Alan Curry, 30, was wanted for allegedly breaking into a Miller Road home in Madison Township Tuesday and stealing about $50. He also took a 2007 Polaris all-terrain vehicle from a garage at the home.New Bethlehem police were also seeking the defendant for an earlier break-in. Additionally, the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole had a warrant for Curry's arrest.State police noted that when Curry was arrested, he was found with checks stolen in one of the previous burglaries. He also was caught with suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned on charges and placed in Clarion County Jail.

9:55 p.m. Wednesday — Bryan Reedy, 54, of Templeton told police that a yellow dirt bike struck the driver's side mirror of his car on Route 422 near Clay Avenue in Pine Township. The unknown driver of the dirt bike initially stopped but then drove away.State Police, Mercer8:42 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Phillip Barner, 47, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, and an International Harvester truck driven by George Frederick, 56, of Youngstown, Ohio, collided on Route 208 in Pine Township. Police said Barner, who was treated at Grove City Medical Center for moderate injuries, was cited for a lane violation.Tuesday — Three 60-foot coils of aluminum wire along with scrap copper wire were stolen from a fenced-in area at the Penn Power facility on Hartwick Road in Findley Township. The wire and scrap, valued at $140, was taken between 2 p.m. Monday and 6:15 a.m. Tuesday.
