Geraldine A. Burr, 89, of Evans City died on Tuesday, July 3, 2007.

Born June 16, 1918, in Butler, she was the daughter of Clyde W. and Jean Borland Flick.

Mrs. Burr was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Connoquenessing. She also was a member of the Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Ash Club and a card club.

She is survived by a son, Randy Burr II and his wife, Agnes, of Sligo; a daughter, Beverly Ann McCarthy of Pittsburgh; a daughter-in-law, Florine Burr of Evans City; 10 grandchildren, Randy Burr III, Mike Burr, Matt Burr, Marie Hoffman, Jean Crawford, Shari McGee, William McCarthy, Robert McCarthy, Daniel McCarthy Jr., and Hannah McCarthy. She also is survived by many great grandchildren.

Her husband, Randy Burr Sr., whom she married in 1935, died in 1978. She also was preceded in death by a son, William R. Burr; a daughter, June Tarcha; two grandsons, William R. Burr Jr. and George J. Burr; and 12 brothers and sisters.

<B>BURR — </B>Friends of Geraldine A. Burr, who died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME,</B> 116 E. Main St., Evans City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 Main St., Connoquenessing. Those attending services are asked to meet at the church.
