Man faces drug possession charge

Police say heroin, prescription pillsfound in bust

VENANGO TWP — Hundreds of prescription pills and dozens of bags of suspected heroin were seized this week from an accused drug dealer’s home, state police said.

Richard H. Pisor Jr., 46, a felon, was arraigned Tuesday on felony and other charges in the case. He is in the Butler County Prison on $50,000 bail.

Vice officers went to Pisor’s home on Stalker Road in Venango Township on Monday after turning up information that narcotics were being sold there, according to court documents.

Pisor, who was home, denied the allegation and allowed officers inside to search, police said.

The officers found a vinyl cooler in the living room with 578 prescription pills and 178 stamp bags of suspected heroin, documents said.

In a kitchen cupboard, police found a digital scale and in the basement they found a .30-caliber rifle. Because of a prior felony conviction stemming from a 2013 drug case, Pisor is not allowed to possess firearms.

During an interview with investigators, according to a police affidavit, Pisor “indicated that all of the heroin and prescription medication were his and that he sold it.”

District Judge Lewis Stoughton arraigned Pisor on felony drug and gun possession charges. He is also charged with misdemeanor possession of drugs.

A preliminary hearing is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stoughton’s office in Chicora.

In the 2013 case, Pisor served 5 months in county prison for growing marijuana at his home.
