William Olin 'Sonny' Wynn

William Olin "Sonny" Wynn Sr., 74, of Penn Township died Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born June 23, 1932, in Bloomburg Texas, he was the son of William Joseph and Susie Gilmore Wynn.

Mr. Wynn was a member of the Expressway Baptist Church in Freeport.

He was a journeyman electrician for 49 years throughout Western Pennsylvania and Ohio. He was a member of the IBEW Local 436 of El Dorado, Ark., and locals in Pittsburgh.

He was a member of the Victory Masonic Blue Lodge 272 in Butler, was a 32nd-degree Mason and also belonged to the New Castle Consistory.He served in the Marine Corps from 1951 to 1954 in the Panama Canal Zone.Surviving are his wife, Harriet "Henna" Dalecke Wynn, whom he married Dec. 9, 1957; two sons, William Olin Wynn Jr. and his wife, Beth, and Timothy C. Wynn, all of Butler; two daughters, Kathy Wynn McElravy and her husband, Don, of Karns City and Leanne Wynn of Butler; and grandchildren, Jensen, Billy III, Benjamin, Shelby, Lauren, Evan and Riley. He also is survived by a brother, W.J. Wynn, of Hemphill, Texas.He was preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Wynn.

<B>WYNN</B> — A transplanted Texan, William Olin "Sonny" Wynn Sr., who died Wednesday, June 13, 2007, will be laid to rest in his beloved home state, Texas. A private memorial service for friends and family will be later.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saxonburg Library.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg, and information is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
