Walter 'Peanuts' Young
Walter "Peanuts" Young, 62, of Butler died at 5:20 a.m. Tuesday at his daughter's home.
Born Aug. 30, 1944, in Butler County, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Edna Scott Young.
He was a member of the Oneida Valley and the Chicora Volunteer Fire departments.
Mr. Young had been a mechanic at Malinski Towing and he later worked for Blaine Excavating.
He enjoyed bowling, racing cars and riding motorcycles.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Otto Young, whom he married April 13, 1968; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Bridget) Eyth and Tara Young, both of Butler; a son, Neil Otto of Butler, and a granddaughter, Harley.
He also is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Edward (Janet) Morgan and Mrs. Raymond (Phyllis) McCune, both of Butler, and Mrs. George (Marie) Dellen of East Brady; and two brothers, Larry and Robert Young, both of Butler.
He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
