Albert Bernard Molnar Sr.
Albert Bernard Molnar Sr., 87, of Penn Township died Friday at UPMC-Passavant Hospital.
He was born in Lowsville, W.Va., the son of Bert and Julia Taylor Molnar.
Mr. Molnar served in the Navy during World War II.
He was the owner-operator of Al Molnar Printing for more than 21 years until his retirement in 1985. He was a member and former deacon of the Hampton Presbyterian Church. He also was a member of the Penn Township Veterans Association.
Mr. Molnar is survived by his wife, Edith Kathryn Kuehner Molnar, whom he married on June 25, 1949; a daughter, Beverly Smith and her husband, Dane, of Shelby, Ohio; a son, Bert Molnar and his wife, Sissy, of Penn Township; three granddaughters, Courtney Traut of Vermilion, Ohio, Lauren Smith of Shelby, Ohio, and Heather Molnar of Penn Township; a great-granddaughter, Allison Kathryn Traut of Vermilion; four brothers, Gabert Molnar of Butler, Alexander Molnar and his wife, Joan, of South Carolina, William Molnar of Middlesex Township and Robert Molnar of South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John Monar, and three sisters, Helen Nemes, Edith Breakiron and Bertha Davis.
<B>MOLNAR —</B> Friends of Albert Bernard Molnar Sr., who died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>HERBERT R. KING JR. FUNERAL HOME,</B> 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hampton Presbyterian Church, 2941 E. Hardies Road, Gibsonia with a viewing at the church one hour prior to services. The Rev. Brian Wallace will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
