Victor F. Valletto
Victor F. Valletto, 78, of Penn Township died Tuesday morning at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born in Allison Park, Jan. 5, 1930, he was the son of the late Angelo and Jenni Lindo Valletto.
He was a self-employed jeweler and had worked for Don Conkey & Sons.
He attended St. Kilian Church in Mars and also was active in the Penn-Glade Lions Club, where he was a former King Lion and deputy district governor. He also belonged to the Butler Elks and the Pennsylvania Retail Jewelers Association, where he received the Salesman of the Year Award in 1973.
He was an avid golfer and race car enthusiast.
Surviving are his wife, Charlotte Wagner Valletto, whom he married Dec. 20, 1965; a daughter, Lisa Zeigler and her husband, Dan, of Cranberry Township; a brother, Carl E. Valletto, and his wife, Annette, of Pensacola, Fla.; two sons from his first marriage, Victor P. and Dale A. Valletto; and many dear nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.

Valletto, who died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, Mars, with the Rev. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating.
