Evelyn 'Sarah' Noullet

Evelyn "Sarah" Noullet, 87, of Summit Street died Tuesday at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born Jan. 30, 1921, in Butler, a daughter of Gilbert F. and Alice Mary Oesterling Forcht.

Evelyn was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She formerly was a clerk at the F.W. Woolworth store in Butler, and during World War II, she worked for Castle Rubber.

Mrs. Noullet was a member of the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She was a life member of the Tanglewood Senior Center and was a member of several card clubs. She formerly was a Cub Scout den mother and also was active in the Boy Scouts. She greatly enjoyed sewing.

Her husband, Richard G. Noullet, who she married June 10, 1942, survives. Also surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and William Scott of Chicora; four sons, Richard (Sonja) Noullet of Glen Allen, Va., Frederick (Gracie) Noullet of Elizabeth, John Noullet of Butler and Jeffrey (Barbara) Noullet of Bruin; and a daughter-in-law, Rhonda Noullet of Prospect. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

One son, Glenn Noullet; one brother, and three sisters preceded her in death.

<B>NOULLET </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Evelyn "Sarah" Noullet, who died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St. The Rev. Pierre Falkenhan, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow at the Butler County Memorial Park cemetery.The Women's Council of St. Peters will recite the rosary at 9:40 a.m. Friday at the church.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
