Heroin addiction family support setThe Butler YMCA and the Ellen O’Brien Gaiser Center are collaborating to offer a heroin addiction family support group.The group meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays in the Butler YMCA trustees’ Room, 339 N. Youth social skills workshop slatedButler County youth will have the opportunity to improve their communication, interviewing and social skills at a free career exploration program from 5 to 8 p.m. March 21 at the St. Andrew Church Hall, 1660 N. Main St.Youths, ages 12 to 17, will hear a speaker from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency on career choices. Dinner will be served.Reservations are requested.
