Hannah Miller of Butler, a health sciences major, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2018 semester at Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y.
A student’s grade point average must be at least 3.5 or above, and he must complete 12 credit hours of graded work that semester to be included on the dean’s list at Nazareth.
Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Lebanon County, named three local students to its fall 2018 dean’s list:
Zachery Schoenly of Cranberry Township, a graduate of Seneca Valley High School, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in exercise science
Cole Hepler of Sarver, a graduate of Freeport High School, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration
Caleb Cekella of Harmony, a graduate of Seneca Valley High School, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science.
Dean’s list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.
The Rocket, the independent, student-run newspaper at Slippery Rock University, has earned seven awards in the 2018 Gold Circle Awards for outstanding collegiate journalism.
The Rocket awards included a trio of first-place honors. The Rocket is printed on a monthly basis during the academic semesters and digital content is produced weekly.
