The Seneca Valley Middle School hockey team volunteered at Marshall Township’s Skate with Santa event Dec. 23 at the Baierl Ice Center. At the event the boys helped collect over 350 nonperishable food items that were donated to The Lighthouse Foundation. The Lighthouse Foundation’s Food Bank helps feed families in need in Butler County and northern Allegheny County. The team also went on to win a tournament at Shady Side Academy over the holidays.
