Gabrielle Sybert of Cranberry Township, a health care studies major at Saint Francis University, has been inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success.

The Saint Francis University chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success had its first induction ceremony of the 2019-2020 academic year Dec. 7 at the DiSepio Institute for Rural Health & Wellness.

Steven Giacobbe, a sophomore at Aquinas Academy of Pittsburgh. is a returning letterman for the Aquinas Academy Boy’s Foil Fencing team and will be one of the lead fencers during the 2020 season.

In 2019, Giacobbe, who is the son of Ken and Sandi Giacobbe of Adams Township, was named to the USA Fencing All-Academic Team Second Team.

Braden Zukowski of Saxonburg has accepted a fully qualified appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, announced Rep. Glenn Thompson, R-5th, on Dec. 20.

Zukowski is a senior at Knoch High School, He is the son of Brad Zukowski and Shauna Braun-Zukowski.
