The Prospect Boys &Girls Club's under-10 traveling soccer team won its season opener recently, defeating Blackhawk Green, 7-5.

Luc LaChance, John Marks, Jacob Prelec, Andrew Jesteadt and Jacob Stutz scored goals for the winners. Stutz, Jaden McCoy, Sammy Moore, Ian Reeher and Amanda Wiest had assists.

Prelec and Marks split time in goal.

In other action, Michael Stutz scored three goals to lead the Prospect Boys &Girls Club's under-12 indoor team to a 7-3 win over the Ball Hogs to close the season.

Kyle Hinchberger added two goals, Jordan Marks and Cole McCandless had one each. Molly Weitzel and C.A. Thomas had assists.

Levi Leonberg and Shane Fichter shared the win in goal as Prospect ended its indoor season at 10-0-0.

U-14

Slippery Rock's coed traveling team defeated Center 4-2 as Jack Cravner scored two goals and Daniel Jeon and Tim Regrut had one goal apiece.
